Six months

Lillian is six months today. I went to weigh her and she came in at 15 lb 8 oz. Just as a comparison, her older brother hit 16 pounds at three months. I thought you'd all enjoy some pictures of Lillian and some from Elijah at six months.

Settling in

Wow. It takes a lot of energy to move and settle into a new house. I guess it doesn't help when the members of the household also get sick. I have been meaning to post some pictures of the new house so you can see the beautiful floors, window coverings and paint. However, there are still piles of stuff that need to be sorted and that's only on the main floor. We're not even talking about the basement yet.

Anyway, we're glad to be here. Pictures to come shortly.

Making Veh-EGG-icles

Elijah had a great time dying eggs the other night. He decided to just use his hands to put the eggs in. Why waste precious coloring time?

Getting more use out of them than me

Spring in Manitoba

Spring hit Manitoba this week and we have been loving it. Elijah and Lillian headed out for their first stroller ride together with Grandma Banman on the weekend. The stroller was out again today. I think I spent a good half hour today watching Elijah splash in the same puddle. Lillian was happily asleep in the stroller. Shark rubber boots + puddle = pure joy for my little boy.

I thought I would also include this picture of my little monkey. We bought him a monkey costume for Halloween but he really didn't want to wear it. He discovered it over the weekend and he has been wearing it continuously.

To Mexico and back

Our little ones are now world travellers. OK, as much as a trip to an all inclusive resort in Mexico will allow.

We had a wonderful time with my parents, Chris, Lisa and William. Elijah's favorite part was definitely the beach and the virgin Strawberry Daiquiris. Lillian's favorite part was her mommy. The resort we stayed at was really nice and the ocean was a three minute walk from our room.

It's nice to be home again although we're not quite sure where home is as our current home has been stripped of all our "homey" things and the new house is an absolute disaster. It was nice to get away while our house was on the market so that we didn't have to think about it.
