7 Months

This little ray of sunshine is seven months today. After some commitment to letting her cry at night, she's sleeping longer stretches (and therefore mommy is sleeping longer stretches.) She loves to giggle and is doing pretty good at sitting by herself (although she did fall over right after this picture.)

The significant thing about this picture is not that my two year old is holding a power tool or that he is wearing protective head gear. The significant thing about this picture is the hole behind them. That's where my dishwasher is going to go. That makes me smile.

Elijah's new room

My mom was kind enough to take some time to help decorate Elijah's new room with some paintings of some different vehicles. Elijah loves it and loves to show people his new room.

(He also did a very good job of imitating Grandma. We forgot to put the paints away and he started painting on the walls just like Grandma. Luckily the paint was still wet and we could pretty much wash it off.)

First bike ride of the season

The ride was so relaxing that they both fell asleep. They looked so peaceful breathing in and out at the same time. Almost made me want to wake them up and hug and squeeze them. Almost.

Six months

Lillian is six months today. I went to weigh her and she came in at 15 lb 8 oz. Just as a comparison, her older brother hit 16 pounds at three months. I thought you'd all enjoy some pictures of Lillian and some from Elijah at six months.

Settling in

Wow. It takes a lot of energy to move and settle into a new house. I guess it doesn't help when the members of the household also get sick. I have been meaning to post some pictures of the new house so you can see the beautiful floors, window coverings and paint. However, there are still piles of stuff that need to be sorted and that's only on the main floor. We're not even talking about the basement yet.
