Christmas came and went as it always does. The kids had fun seeing family and enjoyed getting some new toys. We had a few days of rest and then we headed with my family out to the lake. The kids had a great time.

| We got a penny a log for bringing up wood when we were kids. I guess inflation was taken into account when these kids got a nickel a log. |

| Elijah said that his favourite part of the lake was skating. That's good since his skates were so small that he started crying when he tried to stand on his cramped feet. I guess we're buying new skates this new year. |
